The movie began with serenity

And the characters were secretly feisty

Famished by the aroma of popcorn

I decided to grab one while devoured by forlorn

It is an amusing movie; Indeed, very enthralling

Holding back myself from falling

Due to exhilaration and inquisitive interest

I managed to watch the rest

Not until a chaos came by and said “Hi”

The clock was ticking like a sloth; I was stupefied

There, pondering why the movie seems like a loop

Realization then passed through the hoop

Screaming in panic

“What must I do now?! I am the protagonist!”

The foe is parlous

For I was duped, but not at most

Its ubiquity shrieked with power

As my hopes began to lower

Standing in contrasting grounds yet both vying towards one denouement:

Influencing the dramatis personae

A concealed virus was my adversary

Its vile laughter echoed through my ears

Since it is a step ahead from me

When it triggered the quarantine

The disarray in the eyes of humanity

Bolstered its vainglory

A whispering voice permeated

“Do not let your guards down, you are the protagonist in your own life!”

A wave of consciousness stroke

It greeted me with sundry pokes

Each character has its role respectively

And I chose mine as the bringer of buoyancy

In these trying times

We choose our own signs

To live and furnish others with pessimism

Or optimism?

We are all betwixt the two options

I chose the latter and you should too!
